I hiked a back country trail for this view of the Double Arches without tourists in the early morning. The red rock against the deep blue sky could not be lovelier!
Double Arch Black and White
Taken in early morning from a deserted trail behind the Arch. The black and white draws one's attention to creviced formations and details in the rocks.

Sunrise View from Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park
There were many photographers at Mesa Arch 5 a.m. that morning, all hoping to capture the well known sunrise shot of the full arch. I walked to a view away from the crowd and created one of my favorite photographs of the canyon lands. What an excellent surprise!
The fabulous roar of Burney Falls California is all you hear while you are drenched in cool mist. No wonder President Theordore Roosevelt called it the Eighth Wonder of the World!

Flying with oxygen masks at 22,000 ft. over Denali (Mt. McKinley), Denali National Park Alaska, was one of the most breath-taking times of our lives!
Turret Arch at Arches National Park with Person
What a wonderful early morning view! It is worth getting to Arches National Park before the crowds. Tourists come from all over the world to enjoy our "back yard" in beautiful USA!
